Colonel Robert CollinsProgram Manager, Distributed Common Ground System
COL Robert Collins was commissioned into the Army in 1992 and served in several Signal assignments prior his selection into the Acquisition Corps in 2000. His first Acquisition assignment was at the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) as a Systems Manager and Combat Developer at the U.S. Army Signal Center in Fort Gordon, Georgia. Afterwards, he completed assignments as Assistant PdM for WIN-T and Assistant PdM of Software Integration with Future Combat Systems in Fort Monmouth, New Jersey. COL Collins was then selected to serve as a Department of the Army Systems Coordinator (DASC) for Tactical Army communications systems. While at the Pentagon, he also served as the Executive Officer for the Army Acquisition Executive and Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics and Technology. He then served as the Product Manager (PdM) for the Warfighter Information Network-Tactical (WIN-T) Increment 2 and 3, the Army's backbone tactical network and communications programs.
